Lead Software Engineer

Lead Software Engineer 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on application security, cloud security, and distributed systems. Strong programming expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern software design principles, including object-oriented design, design patterns, and microservices architecture.

Extensive experience with databases and data platforms such as Oracle, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and other large-scale data stores. Hands-on experience designing and building scalable APIs, backend services, platforms, and proof-of-concepts (Po. Cs) from ideation through production deployment. Strong experience with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka. Experience leading technical design discussions, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring engineering teams. Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI-powered application development.

Experience integrating AI services and frameworks such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Lang. Chain, Semantic Kernel, Vector Databases, and Agentic AI platforms. Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent technologies to improve engineering productivity and code quality.

Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and debugging skills with the ability to resolve complex production issues across distributed environments. Ability to collaborate effectively across product, engineering, security, and platform teams to drive technical strategy, design features, and deliver innovative solutions.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to influence technical direction and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems and cloud-native applications. Define and drive architectural best practices across microservices, APIs, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure. Evaluate, prototype, and implement AI-powered capabilities, including LLM-based applications and agentic workflows.

Lead technical investigations, proof-of-concepts, and innovation initiatives aligned with business and product goals. Mentor and guide engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making. Partner with product, security, and platform teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. Drive operational excellence, observability, performance optimization, and production stability across services.
