Banquet Server

Join the banquet team at Radisson Hotel Corning as a Banquet Server, where you'll help bring events to life — from weddings to corporate functions — by delivering attentive, polished service to our guests. Schedule: Full time; schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on banquet events Pay: $11.45/hour plus service charges A day in this role might include: • Greeting guests as they arrive for their event • Serving guests according to the event's function sheet • Setting up and tearing down banquet tables and buffets • Quickly and neatly clearing table settings between courses • Assisting with room and table clean up after events • Opening and closing banquet checks in our point-of-sale system • Pitching in wherever needed to keep the event running smoothly, working closely with the rest of the banquet team

Pay: $14.45 - $14.45 per hour

Requirements

Required Qualifications •High school diploma or equivalent •Basic knowledge of banquet or restaurant service •Authorized to work in the United States •Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment •Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays •Friendly, clear communicator who works well with guests and coworkers •A team player who's ready to pitch in wherever needed •Able to carry up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room continuously throughout a shift •Able to stand for extended periods during a shift •Able to operate basic beverage equipment, such as a coffee maker Preferred Qualifications •Previous experience as a banquet or restaurant server •Fluency in another language
