Data Analyst (Testing)

Data Analyst The Data Analyst, reporting to the Development Team Manager, works directly with Business Systems Analysts, Developers, and Administrators within the IT Organization. The Data Analyst will also work closely with Product Owners, SMEs, and Business Unit Leaders to gather requirements and develop reports and dashboards.

The Data Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining reports and dashboards using various mediums and will provide this service across business units within Donan. The Data Analyst will leverage their broad experience creating Salesforce Reports, Salesforce Dashboards, Einstein Analytics (Dataflows, Datasets, Recipes, Lenses, Dashboards), SSRS, Power BI, Excel, SQL, MySQL.

Maintenance includes testing and updating the reports and dashboards to ensure they remain functional as part of the change management of releasing updates to the underlying platforms (i.e. Salesforce and Einstein Analytics scheduled releases). They will also develop and leverage experience with Salesforce Administration and the Salesforce query languages (SOQL, SOSL, and SAQL) in support of meeting the analytics and Salesforce Admin needs of the business.

FLSA Status: Exempt Duties and Responsibilities: Create and maintain Reports and Dashboards in Salesforce Create and maintain Dataflows, Datasets, Recipes, Lenses, Dashboards in Einstein Analytics (Salesforce) Create reports using tools such as Excel, SSRS, Power BI, … Work with Product Owners and SMEs to gather requirements and develop reports Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts Preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.

Collaborating with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary Maintain Data Dictionary for Donan Systems to support report/dashboard creation and usage Demonstrate the significance of data in the context of trends that impact both the organization and industry Accountability for confidentiality and security policy adherence for assigned systems Perform all other duties as assigned by management
