Permanent Substitute Teacher (26-27 SY)

Description: Permanent Full Time Substitute Teacher Job Summary: Full time position providing substitute services for teachers / paraprofessionals in low incidence handicapped classrooms. Will be required to work with a variety of disabled students with a wide range of impairments including autism, emotional disorders, moderate to severe and profound mental impairments, physical and medical impairments.

May serve in multiple classrooms across the cooperative.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications

include a Valid Registered Illinois teaching certificate/LBS1. A Valid Registered PEL / SUB Teaching License or other teacher certification will also be considered; experience with low incidence special education students is preferred. Working Conditions: Will work in a variety of special education classrooms across the AERO Special Education Cooperative and within the AERO Theraputic Center.
