Flexibility with scheduling is preferred. Minimum Requirements ARRT(R) certification required Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license Current BLS certification High School Diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills Essential Job Functions Obtain and review relevant patient medical history prior to exams Review and correctly interpret physicians’ imaging orders Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and encourage cooperation Properly position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images Set appropriate technical parameters and safely operate X-ray equipment Evaluate images for technical quality and determine when additional images may be necessary Assist radiologists with procedures such as arthrograms Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-focused imaging environment Support other modalities and departments as needed Additional Responsibilities Restock supplies and maintain organized exam areas Routinely clean and sanitize exam rooms and patient areas Physical & Working Requirements Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 25 pounds from ground to waist level Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment What We’re Looking For Dependable and flexible Compassionate and patient-focused Positive and professional Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Team-oriented with a willingness to help where needed About Precision Imaging Centers Precision Imaging Centers is a leading outpatient imaging provider serving Northeast and Central Florida.
