Leadership Opportunity & Vision: Reporting directly to the Superintendent of Schools and serving as a core member of the Executive Cabinet, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources will serve as the chief human capital strategist for the district. The incoming leader will modernize talent pipelines, nurture an inclusive workplace culture, direct labor relations with major bargaining units, and align all talent systems with student academic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Chief School Administrator endorsement. * Minimum five years of administrative experience in a K-12 educational or large public sector organization. We Are Looking for Someone Who Can: * Envision and execute national, regional, and university-partnered recruitment initiatives for certified and support staff. * Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreements with fairness, transparency, and consistency.

• Draft and maintain Board of Education personnel policies, administrative rules, and employee handbooks. * Leverage enterprise Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to automate workflows and personnel analytics. * Align human capital operations with overarching district strategic goals, budget parameters, and board policies.

• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the empathy and diplomacy to navigate complex human situations. * Utilize analytics to evaluate staffing ratios, turnover metrics, compensation competitiveness, and climate trends. * Uphold a strong commitment to ethical leadership, absolute confidentiality, procedural due process, and fairness.

2026 - 2027 Terms of Employment: Base Salary: $175,000 - $195,000 (negotiable based on skill level and experience) Employment Period: Twelve (12) Months Non-Unit Position Benefits: Full-time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription and Dental Benefits.
