Cook – Senior Living Pay: $16.00–$20.00/hour, plus credit for experience Job Type: Full-time Location: St. Mark Village, Palm Harbor, FL (in person) Shifts Available Full-time: 5:00 AM–1:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–7:00 PM Weekend rotation required About the Role St. Mark Village, an award-winning senior living community in Palm Harbor, is hiring a full-time Cook with experience in healthcare food service.

Candidates must have cooked in a hospital, assisted living, nursing home, or long-term care kitchen. You’ll know what this job takes: cooking for residents’ special diets, sticking to production schedules, and putting out food that is safe and tastes good. Most applicants hear back within 48 hours. 00–$20.00/hour, plus credit for experience Full-time day shifts: Early, mid, or late-day shifts, with no overnights Comprehensive benefits: A quality benefits package for eligible employees Meaningful work: Your cooking is a highlight of residents’ daily lives Supportive team: We value our team members as much as the people we serve Quick hiring: Apply today, and most candidates hear back within 48 hours What You’ll Do Cook and serve meals for residents in the dining room and café, following menus, recipes, and production schedules Prepare therapeutic and modified diets, such as diabetic, low-sodium, renal, and pureed or mechanical soft meals, following diet orders and texture guidelines Cook in volume while keeping quality, portions, and presentation consistent Keep food safety records, including food and refrigeration temperature logs Keep kitchen areas, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized, including daily and weekly cleaning and occasional dish room support Train and mentor kitchen team members in proper food handling and cleaning Report damaged equipment or needed repairs right away What You’ll Need Cooking experience in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital, assisted living, nursing home, or long-term care kitchen (required) Experience preparing therapeutic, modified-texture, or special diets (required) Solid cooking and food handling skills and a working knowledge of food service operations Florida food handler certification or Serv.
