Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Fort Worth, TXPosted Oct 14, 2026

Job description

Position Overview

The SVP of Sales and Marketing owns Dollamur’s full commercial engine — brand, demand generation, digital and e-commerce, product marketing, and all sales — and is accountable for turning brand and demand into booked revenue. This leader builds a high-performance commercial organization, holds marketing to pipeline and return on spend rather than impressions, gives sales the positioning and qualified demand it needs to win, and serves as Dollamur’s senior ambassador across the sports and Health and Safety markets.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Growth Set and execute an integrated commercial strategy — sales, marketing, pricing, and channel — that delivers profitable growth in Wrestling, Gymnastics & Cheerleading, and Martial Arts & Fitness, while developing adjacent, emerging, and international markets. Own the full funnel — awareness through quote, close, and retention — with single-point accountability for conversion at every stage.

Define and enforce Dollamur’s value proposition, pricing discipline, and discount governance to protect premium positioning and margin. Brand & Product Marketing Own the Dollamur brand and sub-brands — positioning, identity, and creative — and enforce usage standards across dealers, distributors, licensees, and marketplaces.

Own product positioning, naming, launch, and lifecycle communication (introductions, substitutions, discontinuations), partnering with Product Development and Operations on readiness, forecast, and channel sequencing. Keep sales equipped with current battlecards, competitive comparisons, ROI tools, and spec content, and feed win/loss and customer insight back to product and pricing.

Demand Generation, Digital & E-Commerce Build a measurable demand engine across search, paid and organic social, email, and content, accountable to cost per qualified lead, pipeline, and return on ad spend. Run the website and direct-to-consumer channel as commercial assets: traffic, conversion, merchandising, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value.

Set channel policy for marketplaces, dealers, and direct — including advertised-price discipline and conflict resolution — so channels reinforce rather than undercut one another. Run a disciplined lead process (capture, scoring, routing, follow-up SLAs) jointly with sales, and hold agencies and vendors to defined deliverables and ROI.

Sales Leadership & Organization Lead and develop the two VPs and the Head of Marketing against revenue, gross margin, operating income, and demand targets; build bench strength and succession. Design the commercial structure — inbound, outbound, key accounts, inside, field, and dealer support — and build a team known for responsiveness, product knowledge, and being easy to do business with.

Design incentive compensation aligned to revenue, margin, and customer experience. CRM, Analytics & Performance Management Drive consistent CRM and marketing automation use across sales and marketing: pipeline management, forecast accuracy, campaign attribution, and data integrity. Maintain a single source of truth for commercial reporting, with marketing-sourced pipeline and revenue reported alongside sales.

Set KPIs for every team, segment, and channel, and align forecasting and planning with Operations and Finance, including the S&OP process. Market Intelligence, Partnerships & Industry Presence Run an ongoing competitive intelligence discipline — competitors, pricing, service models, substitutes — and turn it into positioning, pricing guidance, and selling tools.

Build senior relationships with key customers, distributors, governing bodies, and strategic partners, and run athlete, coach, club, and influencer partnerships that convert reach into revenue. Own event and trade-show strategy end to end with measured ROI, and direct PR and communications as Dollamur’s primary commercial spokesperson.

Financial Leadership & Executive Reporting Manage the combined sales and marketing budget, shifting spend toward the highest-return channels, and mitigate commercial, brand, channel-conflict, and reputational risk. Report regularly to the CEO, executive team, and Board on revenue, pipeline, brand health, competitive dynamics, and risks, with clear recommendations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership across both sales and marketing, preferably in sports manufacturing, consumer products, building materials, or a related industry. Has owned a marketing function — brand, demand generation, and digital — while carrying a revenue number.

Proven revenue growth in B2B and B2C environments, including dealer or distributor channels and direct-to-consumer, leading complex inbound and outbound sales organizations. Hands-on experience building and measuring a digital demand engine (paid media, search, e-commerce, attribution) and managing agencies to measurable outcomes.

Strong negotiation and partnership skills, with a record of defending premium positioning against discounting. Advanced proficiency in CRM, marketing automation, and commercial analytics. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Commercially aggressive, analytically disciplined and accountable for results. Strong brand and marketing judgment with an operator's focus on revenue, margin and ROI.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
