Lake Area Discovery Center (LADC) is hiring Toddler and Young Three's Assistant Teachers for full-time and part-time positions at the White Bear Lake Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Responsibilities include

supporting daily classroom activities, supervising children, preparing learning materials, assisting with routines, communicating positively with families, and helping maintain a clean, organized classroom environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing engaging daily learning activities. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Build caring relationships with children and families. Supervise children while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. Assist with meals, outdoor play, transitions, toileting, and classroom routines.

Prepare classroom materials and learning centers. Maintain classroom cleanliness and licensing standards. Collaborate with Lead Teachers and the teaching team. Participate in staff meetings and professional development.

Qualifications

Experience working with young children (childcare, preschool, nannying, camps, education, or related experience) Early Childhood coursework, CDA, or related education preferred Ability to meet Minnesota DHS Assistant Teacher qualifications (or willingness to obtain qualifications) Strong communication and teamwork skills Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children About Lake Area Discovery Center Since 1999, Lake Area Discovery Center has partnered with churches and schools throughout the Twin Cities to provide exceptional early childhood education for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K .
