Open Blue is the global leader in open ocean raised fish. Our deep sea platform is located 8 miles offshore in waters 230 feet deep, utilizing fully submerged net pen systems. This method allows for a natural and humane growing environment for the fish while using environmentally responsible and sustainable practices. The result is a fish with exceptional taste, freshness and quality. Open Blue Cobia is renowned for its rich buttery taste and meaty texture. A versatile fish, it offers a world of culinary potential and can be cooked a variety of ways including grilling, broiling, or sashimi style. Our Cobia is high in protein and Omega 3, while remaining free of harmful contaminants such as hormones, pesticides and colorants.
