Welding Lathe Operator

Summary SMS group is looking for Welding Lathe Operators for our second shift whose primary function is to set up and operate welding lathes and perform Arc, MIG and TIG welding, burning. Monitor temperature of rolls and adjust heat if required Perform arc welding or burning as required Place roll in furnace, start and operate furnace and identify roll on heat chart. Perform minor maintenance repairs on equipment Keep work area, tools and equipment clean and orderly Utilize crane and material handling equipment Be a safety minded worker who is drug free, dependable, and able to maintain an excellent attendance record What you’ll need Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Drug Screen, Physical Capacity Profile Test and Background Check.

Education
