Student Intern Groundskeeping/Maintenance

School Year Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled in good standing academically and with attendance. Have a good previous work record. Ability to commit to a consistent daily 2-hour shift as assigned by supervisor. Be able to follow instructions, plan and organize work and work independently without supervision. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 lbs regularly (e.

g., carrying field markers, folding tables, sports equipment, and trash cans). Ability to safely follow verbal and written directives from supervisors, Athletic Directors, and maintenance staff with minimal supervision once trained. Ability to safely use basic hand tools or basic facility equipment (e.g., brooms, field paint sprayers, mowers, or trash carts).

Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to collaborate with school staff, coaches, and fellow student workers. Must meet state minimum age requirements. Reports to: Facilities Supervisor
