HR Internship

Human Resources Intern CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part time, 20 hours/week, Human Resources Intern to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional HR environment.

Responsibilities

Assisting with recruitment and candidate screening Supporting onboarding and new hire processes Helping with employee engagement initiatives Providing general administrative support to the HR team Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus This internship offers valuable, real-world HR experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.
