Operations Manager
Job description
THE NICI Collection is a luxury lifestyle hotel group inspired by some of the world's most iconic destinations, bringing exceptional hospitality, outstanding food and drink, and unforgettable guest experiences to some of the UK's most desirable locations. What began with THE NICI Bournemouth, our original flagship hotel inspired by Miami's South Beach, has grown into an exciting collection of destination-led properties.
In June 2026, the collection expanded with the opening of THE NICI Newquay, inspired by Italy's Amalfi Coast, and THE NICI New Forest, inspired by the luxury and charm of the Hamptons. This is just the beginning of our growth journey, and we're looking for talented individuals who want to build their careers with an ambitious and expanding hospitality brand.
The Role As Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring that every department operates smoothly and consistently delivers an exceptional guest experience. Working closely with the General Manager and Heads of Department, you will lead from the front, support your teams and drive operational standards across the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring high standards across all departments. Work closely with Heads of Department to drive performance, accountability and teamwork. Deliver an outstanding guest experience, responding effectively to feedback and resolving issues. Monitor operational performance, labour costs and departmental budgets.
Support recruitment, training, development and retention of team members. Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing and company procedures. Drive efficiency and identify opportunities to improve service and profitability. Maintain a visible leadership presence, motivating teams and leading by example. Work collaboratively with the wider NICI Collection to support our values and standards.
About You
Previous experience in a hotel operations or senior hospitality management role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. A hands-on approach and the confidence to manage a busy, fast-paced operation. A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Commercial awareness, with experience managing costs and driving performance.
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. The ability to build strong relationships across all departments. Why Join THE NICI? This is an opportunity to join an ambitious and growing luxury lifestyle hotel collection, where personality, service and attention to detail matter. You will be part of a team that takes pride in creating memorable experiences for our guests while developing our people and continually raising our standards.
If you are passionate about hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to make a real impact, we would love to hear from you.
