Hiring Unit: Plant Science Course Title: Principles of Ecological Agriculture Course Code: AGRI 340 001 Estimated Number of Positions: 1 Total Hours of Work per Term: 39 Hiring Unit: Plant Science Course Title and Course Number: AGRI 340 Estimated Number of Positions: 1 Total Hours of Work per Term: 45 Position Summary: Correcting assignments/lab reports; helping students in the GH; setting up experiments in the GH and soils labs.

Qualifications

Knowledge of plants, soils, ecological agriculture. Before applying, please note that to work at Mc. Gill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located. Mc. Gill University is an English-language university where most teaching and research activities are conducted in the English language, thereby requiring English communication both verbally and in writing.

Please note that Teaching Assistants will be required on campus to perform their tasks in person. Should anything prohibit in-person teaching activities, courses will migrate to remote teaching. In the event of such a change, Teaching Assistants will be advised as soon as possible. Teaching Assistants may be required to perform tasks suited to a remote/online teaching environment using a virtual learning platform [e.

g., Zoom, Web. Ex] and the Mc. Gill my. Courses learning management system. Teaching Assistants must be available to work the entire contract period.
