• Casselberry, FL, Salary Range: $45000.00 - $65000.00Salary/year, Loyalty is hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Appraiser to join our team. The Automobile Appraiser will be responsible for determining the market value of vehicles, assessing their condition, and preparing detailed appraisal reports. This role requires strong expertise in evaluating cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles based on factors like age, make, model, mileage, and overall condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive valuation, attention to detail, and the ability to provide accurate assessments in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

Examines the damaged vehicle to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage. Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item. Reviews repair cost estimates with the body shop manager or foreman. Negotiates with repair facilities cost-effective solutions for issues that may arise throughout the repair process.

Completes inspection reports with a high level of detail and in accordance with industry standards. Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors. Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before the accident. Determines valuations on total vehicle loss.

Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations. Provides technical support to claim handlers on vehicle repair issues. Applies knowledge of market value and other factors affecting reparability issues. Answers inbound calls and making outbound calls to customers. May occasionally require interacting with parties who express strong emotions or concerns about ongoing inspections or claim resolutions.

Provides exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D. 6 months of claims handling or intake experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office. A valid Driver’s License is required. Adjuster License is a plus but not required.
