Mechanic II

The non-union Mechanic II independently performs diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities on heavy mobile equipment, heavy trucks, industrial machinery, and production equipment. This position is responsible for identifying root causes of equipment failures, completing repairs, and maintaining equipment reliability while ensuring compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Employees in this role regularly perform more complex repairs and serve as a resource to developing mechanics.

The primary goal of this position is to achieve excellence in all facets of the position. Providing the highest quality product safely, effectively, and efficiently decreases accidents and errors and increases profits.
