Mechanic I

The non-union Mechanic I performs preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair activities on heavy equipment, vehicles, industrial machinery, and related systems while ensuring compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. This position is an entry-level skilled mechanic role responsible for learning company maintenance practices, developing diagnostic capabilities, and performing routine repairs under the guidance of experienced mechanics.

The Mechanic I assists with identifying equipment issues, replacing components, completing preventive maintenance activities, and supporting equipment reliability objectives.
