Production Associate - 1st Shift

Quanex is looking for a Production Associate - 1st Shift to join our team in Luck, Wisconsin. Are you looking to be proud of the work you have accomplished? You will play an important role in keeping production running smoothly by handling, inspecting, sorting, and stacking lumber as it moves through the facility. Salary: $17.00 to $24.48 per hour, depending on experience. Potential for pay increase up to $1 if meeting or exceeding expectations at 90 day performance review.

The level for each Production Associate is determined by management based on the ability to train others and number of machines the operator can run while meeting production standards and quality requirements. Schedule: Monday

• Thursday) No Weekends Small, independent work teams Well lit, generally clean work environment What Success Looks Like: Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE. Sort and neatly stack boards from conveyors, saws, or processing equipment. Monitor product to ensure quality standards are being met. Keeps the work area in a neat and orderly condition. Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes production documentation. Assists in other work areas when the workload permits or requires. What You Bring: Ability to use a tape measure preferred. At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred. Manual finger dexterity skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
