What you'll do

Patrol assigned sites by vehicle and on foot Write clear daily activity and incident reports Respond to alarms and incidents, and contact police or emergency services when needed Provide professional, courteous service to client staff and visitors Open schedules Tue–Sat, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hrs) Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, 5:00 PM–1:00 AM (40 hrs) Sun–Thu, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM (40 hrs) Sun, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, 11:30 PM–7:30 AM (40 hrs) Thu & Fri 1:00–9:00 AM, plus Sat & Sun 10:00 PM–6:00 AM (32 hrs) No guard card yet?

Qualified applicants may receive a conditional offer, then complete the required BSIS training and apply for a guard card. Patrol Solutions does not pay for this training; we'll point you to approved schools nearby. Your start date is set once your guard card is issued.

BSIS runs its own criminal background check through Live Scan. Under state law, anything that causes BSIS to deny, suspend or revoke your guard card makes you ineligible to work as a security officer. Job duties a criminal record may affect: protecting people and client property; working alone without direct supervision; holding client keys, access codes and alarm codes; reporting incidents to law enforcement; and, for patrol positions, driving company vehicles.

CA PPO: 119966 Qualifications: 21 or older (required by our insurance for driving positions). Drivers under 23 need an additional insurance review, which can take several weeks. Valid California BSIS Guard Card, or willing to get one before your first shift (see "No guard card yet?")
