Market Assistant - The Barns at New Market

Performs part-time on-site management of The Barns at New Market including overall oversight of all buildings and grounds to ensure cleanliness and upkeep, addresses vendor concerns, greet visitors to the market; perform value-added market and event admission sales interacts with visitors to provide information and address concerns, maintains daily financial and vendor attendance records; perform light housekeeping and maintenance; performs other duties as assigned, reports to with Agriculture Division.

Assists with the marketing and promotion of markets and events, including efforts to attract and retain vendors and customers through outreach, visitor engagement, and promotional support.
