The Portal Agency

Cairo, Cairo, EgyptFull timePosted Mar 1, 2026

Job description

The Media Buyer plans, launches, and optimizes paid campaigns to drive qualified leads and measurable results for The Portal Agency and client accounts. This role owns day-to-day media execution across platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok/Snap as needed), budget pacing, testing, and reporting. Success means clean tracking, disciplined experimentation, stable CPL/CPA performance, and clear insights tied to business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

objectives, targeting, budgets, creatives requirements, and funnel flow. Launch and manage campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads (Search/Display/YouTube), and other platforms as needed. Set up conversions and events in coordination with tracking/dev teams (pixels, GTM, GA4). Ensure correct naming conventions, structure, and account hygiene (campaigns/ad sets/ads).

Optimization & Testing Monitor performance daily and optimize budgets, audiences, bids, placements, and creative rotation. Run structured A/B tests: hooks, creatives, offers, landing pages, audiences, and CTAs. Identify winners and scale responsibly; stop waste quickly. Maintain a testing log with hypotheses, results, and next steps.

Tracking, Reporting & Insights Validate tracking accuracy (events, attribution, UTMs, lead quality signals). Deliver weekly and monthly reports with clear insights and recommendations. Connect ad metrics to funnel outcomes (qualified leads, meetings, sales) using CRM feedback where possible. Raise tracking issues early and coordinate fixes with dev/analytics teams.

Creative Collaboration Write clear creative briefs (angles, hooks, formats, specs) for design/motion teams. Provide performance feedback to creatives (what’s working and what to change). Ensure ad creative matches platform best practices and brand standards. Client/Stakeholder Communication (as needed) Join client calls when needed to explain performance, trade-offs, and next actions.

Set expectations clearly on timelines, testing periods, and realistic benchmarks.

Requirements

2+ years hands-on paid media experience (agency preferred). Strong experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads (Search is required; other channels a plus). Strong analytical skills: can read performance data and make decisions. Solid understanding of tracking basics (pixels, events, GA4, UTMs, attribution). Ability to manage budgets responsibly and report clearly.

Arabic + English communication (business level).
