Fleet Technician I

THE SCHEDULE FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE 11:00AM - 10:00PM, MONDAY THRU THURSDAY SUMMARY Incumbents perform journey-level repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of automotive and small equipment; and assist Fleet Technicians II and Fleet Technicians III with general repairs and maintenance on a variety of diverse equipment and vehicles such as solid waste vehicles, construction equipment, fire apparatus, bucket trucks, and others.

EDUCATION

and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED, and two years of automotive or heavy truck servicing, maintenance, and repair experience OR completion of an accredited automotive or diesel training program at a trade school or community college....
