Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Principal, the Substitute Teacher implements lesson plans, provides instructions to students, and maintains a positive learning environment. Promotes teamwork and collaborates with school staff to support classroom activities and ensure continuity of instruction. THIS POSTING IS ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT FUSD STUDENT TEACHERS ONLY.

• Resume and Letter of Introduction Credential Requirements: (One of the following)
• 30 Day Substitute Teaching Permit
• Other Valid California Teaching Credential
• Copies of all college/university transcripts verifying a bachelor's degree (foreign transcripts must include a U.S. equivalency evaluation from a CTC-approved agency) ** If you do not currently have a teaching permit, with a valid bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and official transcripts, FUSD may assist eligible applicants with applying for the CTC Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit. This position is not available to applicants requiring visa sponsorship. Interview Notification: Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
