Position Overview

We are seeking a caring, responsible, and energetic individual to join our team as a School-Age After Care Teacher. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children in grades K–5 and is looking to make a positive impact during the after-school hours.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and engage school-age children in structured and unstructured activities Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate games, arts & crafts, and enrichment activities Encourage social-emotional development Maintain a safe and positive environment Communicate effectively with parents, and fellow staff Support occasional full-day care on school breaks, early release days, and professional development days Qualifications: Experience working with children ages 5–12 (preferred) Must be 16 years or older Strong communication and classroom management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: Competitive hourly pay Paid professional development Friendly, supportive work environment Opportunities for additional hours during school breaks
