Senior Specialist Governance, Controls & Integration
Job description
Role Purpose: Provide oversight and leadership across governance, risk, controls, and acquisition integration activities to ensure business objectives are achieved, regulatory obligations are met, and acquired entities are successfully integrated into the organisation Accountabilities: Support Investment Review Committee (IRC) process through contributing to Independent Peer Reviews (IPRs) and Post Investment Reviews (PIRs) and IRC Action Tracker Support capital planning and prioritisation frameworks, including through Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process Maintain MMG processes, systems and standards for control of Tenement Management and conduct Quarterly Functional Assurance Reviews (FARs) Support to establish, maintain and embed core project development Standards, Work Quality Requirements and Guidelines Provide due diligence and integration support on Merger & Acquisitions as required.
Conduct in Flight Reviews and identify material risks across the portfolio Lead and support new acquisition integration including training, APF process, capital allocation, project standards and work quality requirements for studies and projects Support continual development of project controls, reporting processes, standards, and project related work quality requirements Support project integration, implementation plans for key projects and sustaining capital for existing and new assets Co-ordinate and participate in project reviews and audits and provide reports thereon to MMG executive Support growth and sustaining capital studies and projects as appropriate, which may include reviews Support the Project Management community of practice globally and develop training programmes as required Support collating lessons learnt and future benchmarking data Support and develop management and Exco dashboards and reporting requirements Always demonstrate safe behaviour, promote awareness of, and comply with, Safety, Health, Environment and Community (SHEC) practices, standards, and procedures.
