Education Coordinator

• Cedar City, UT 84721, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $24.00 - $30.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Looking for an Education Coordinator to assist our clients with their educational development in a residential treatment setting with clients with a varying academic ability.

Responsibilities

The Education Coordinator will track and order educational material for each student and assist students with technology based educational activities/testing for each subject. Must ensure each student has appropriate individualized educational materials available each day and all required documents are submitted for enrollment in a timely manner to accredited education provider.

Must grade educational materials and keep accurate records of student grades. Keep a consistent school schedule and implement extracurricular activities to assist learning. Attend required meetings and communicate student progress with team members/staff. Must be an exceptional problem solver and communicate with education provider when issues arise to troubleshoot possible solutions.

Wage is dependent on education experience. ***Benefits available for Full Time positions: Medical, Dental, and Vision. Monday-Friday 6 am- 2 pm Qualifications: Preferred experience and skills: Bachelor’s degree in education preferred.

Current Teaching License Required Special Education skills and endorsement preferred, but not required. Must be a highly motivated, self-starter with strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Must be an active problem solver and work well with a team. Experience with Excel and spreadsheets is required.

Must be able to communicate well with a team and work well with adolescent students. Experience working in the mental health environment is preferred, but program specific training is provided and required for Education Coordinator. Ability to form positive rapport with students and coworkers.
