• Waterbury , CT, Salary Range: $65000.00 - $70000.00Salary/year, Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with 5+ years of experience. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in early childhood setting. SPECIAL SKILLS: Must have thorough understanding of early childhood development and special needs. Knowledge of state licensing standards, Head Start performance standards, School Readiness, accreditation etc., basic computer skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to occasionally lift and carry children weiging up to 50 lbs., the use of arms, hands, legs and feet with or without corrective devised to accomplish the job including evacuatin of the building during emergencies. Ability to kneel, bend and sit while interacting with children at floor level. Abiltiy to sit and work at computer. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Ability to function within guidelines of Agency’s core values, identification with Agency mission, ability to build consensus and motivate employees.
