Part-time Music Teacher - Instrumental

PT Music Educator � Instrumental Music Middle School | 2026�2027 School Year A Part-time Music Educator position is available for the 2026�2027 school year in the Jericho School District. The position will support a dynamic and highly respected middle school instrumental music program. The teacher will co-teach band and orchestra ensembles and provide small-group instruction on a variety of instruments, helping students strengthen their musical skills, confidence, and independence.

The position offers opportunities to collaborate with experienced music educators and to contribute to a vibrant, student-centered instrumental music program.

Responsibilities include

Co-teaching middle school band and/or orchestra ensembles Providing small-group instruction on a variety of band and orchestra instruments Supporting students with developing technique, musicianship, and ensemble skills Collaborating with music colleagues to support student growth and engagement Contributing to performances, rehearsals, and other aspects of the instrumental music program Participating in professional learning and opportunities for continued growth Qualifications: NYS Music Teacher Certification Strong instrumental music skills and experience Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic music department Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
