Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Check in and out employees at lobby desk post. Check in and out trucks at the guard shack post. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential hazards or security breaches.

Manage conflicts effectively by employing de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution skills. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in security Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Able to work a smart phone and tablet. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must possess a valid security officer certification where applicable.
