• Post-Acute Care/Facility Rounding Location(s): Orange Park, FL and Green Cove Springs, FL Description Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Florida Psychiatry & Wellness Flexible Hours Florida Psychiatry & Wellness is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically strong Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP preferred; FNP with psychiatry experience considered) to join our growing practice. Position Overview

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care while rounding at multiple post-acute care facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who values independence, clinical excellence, and meaningful patient care in transitional settings.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments Diagnose and treat mental health conditions Provide medication management and individualized treatment planning Round at several post-acute care facilities and collaborate with facility teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care Qualifications Active and unrestricted Florida Nurse Practitioner license Board Certification (PMHNP preferred) Active DEA license (or ability to obtain) Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and communication skills Experience in Psychiatry strongly preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation Malpractice insurance fully covered Supportive administrative team and streamlined operations Full autonomy with strong clinical support and flexible autonomous scheduling Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization Why Join Florida Psychiatry & Wellness?
