Hunter Automotive Group is looking for an Automotive Reconditioning Technician to join our team in Fletcher, NC! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays attention to the details, and wants to grow within the automotive industry.

Previous detailing or reconditioning experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

What You'll Do

Vehicle Detailing & Reconditioning Inspect used vehicles to identify cleaning, detailing, and reconditioning needs. Perform interior and exterior detailing, including washing, vacuuming, carpet extraction, and interior conditioning. Complete paint correction, buffing, and polishing to improve vehicle appearance. Perform minor reconditioning tasks such as headlight restoration, paint touch-ups, and basic part replacements.

Complete digital checklists to ensure vehicles meet our quality standards before reaching the lot. Shop Maintenance & Safety Keep work areas, wash bays, equipment, and supplies clean and organized. Handle detailing chemicals and equipment safely. Move vehicles around the dealership property as needed. Maintain consistent quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

Previous automotive detailing or reconditioning experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work. Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn. Ability to work in a physically active role, including standing, bending, and lifting. Comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
