Pre-K Assistant Teacher

Pre-K Assistant Teacher: The assistant teacher will assist and support the classroom teacher in providing a healthy, safe, and developmentally appropriate program and environment where children have the opportunity to develop social-emotional, language, intellectual and physical skills. Also, the assistant teacher should be able to respect and support the family unit in their efforts to raise their children to become well-rounded individuals.

Responsibilities

Assist with implementing classroom activities. Support child supervision, engagement, and guidance. Help prepare instructional materials and classroom setup. Communicate effectively with staff and families. Ensure compliance with state regulations. Job Qualifications: Associates Degree in Early Childhood or related Field CDA Credential, Specialized Age Group Certificate Two years (2,500) documented work experience Must have some knowledge of early childhood education – coursework or prior experience.

CPR Certification required within 2 months of the date of hire. Current clearances: PA Child Abuse, NSOR, FBI/State Police.
