Pre-K Counts Lead Teacher

Lead Teacher – Pre-K Counts Program The Lead Teacher will plan, implement, and assess a developmentally appropriate Pre-K Counts classroom using the Experience Curriculum and assessment tools. The teacher will foster a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children while maintaining compliance with PA Pre-K Counts requirements.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement daily lessons aligned with the Experience Curriculum. Conduct assessments and document child progress. Ensure compliance with Pre-K Counts standards and state regulations. Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required. PA Teaching Certification in Pre-K–4 preferred. Experience working in Pre-K programs preferred. Current clearances: PA Child Abuse, NSOR, FBI/State Police. Bilingual a plus but not required. Note: This position is not eligible for a sign-on bonus.
