Scaffolding Project Manager
Job description
General Purpose:
To supervise and coordinate field administration activities that support project teams from startup through close-out. This role oversees Field Administrative Coordinators and related processes, with primary responsibility for accurate and timely payroll entry, purchasing, purchase orders, accounts payable documentation, new-hire onboarding support, document management, and jobsite administrative services. The Field Administration Supervisor establishes consistent procedures, monitors workload and compliance, resolves escalated issues, and ensures effective information flow among field personnel, project management, vendors, and Finance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise, coach, and support Field Administrative Coordinators, including assigning work, monitoring performance, balancing workloads, and promoting consistent execution across projects and jobsites.

Oversee and complete field payroll processes, including time entry, review, approvals, corrections, supporting documentation, and compliance with established deadlines and company procedures.

Manage and complete purchasing administration, including purchase order setup, proper authorization, receipt documentation, invoice matching, coding coordination, and resolution of discrepancies with project teams, vendors, and Accounts Payable.

Oversee and complete jobsite administrative support from project startup through close-out, including onboarding coordination, employee documentation, file maintenance, and required project records.

Establish, document, and enforce standardized field administration procedures, controls, and service expectations across assigned projects.

Review payroll, purchasing, accounts payable, and administrative activity for accuracy, completeness, timely processing, and compliance with company policies.

Coordinate with project managers, field leaders, Human Resources, Finance, vendors, and other internal departments to address operational needs and resolve escalated administrative issues.

Monitor deadlines, outstanding items, and process exceptions; provide timely status updates and escalate significant risks or recurring issues to the Accounting Supervisor.

Develop and deliver training for Field Administrative Coordinators and field personnel on payroll entry, purchasing requirements, documentation standards, and related administrative processes.

Maintain strong working relationships with field personnel, project teams, vendors, and internal departments while promoting responsive and professional service.

Travel to jobsites as needed to assess administrative needs, support process implementation, train personnel, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Qualifications:
-
Three or more years of field administration, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable, or project support experience; construction industry experience is preferred.

Prior supervisory, team-lead, or demonstrated work-coordination experience is preferred.

Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Working knowledge of payroll, purchasing, purchase order, accounts payable, and document-management processes; experience with Vista is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to supervise employees, establish priorities, coach performance, and maintain accountability for deadlines and standards.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

High attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and process compliance.

Strong time-management, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
