Direct Support Professional-Day Contract

This is a Contract/PRN position that provides services on an as-needed basis. Hours are not guaranteed and will fluctuate based on program needs. This position is not a regular full-time or part-time role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides quality care, training, support, and supervision to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a center-based or community-based program. Monitors and maintains the safety and wellness of individuals. Provides a wide array of activities and experiences that will enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Provides recreation and socialization to individuals in a variety of community settings. Provides transportation for community activities. Maintains individual records and documentation according to all applicable standards.Hours of the program may include weekdays, weekends, and evenings.

REQUIREMENTS

Highschool diploma or equivalent M2: Valid drivers license and safe driving record Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.
