Summary: The House Parent/Boarding Master Associate is a vital part of the student-athlete experience fostering a safe, supportive, and structured residential environment. Reporting to the Residential & Support Team Lead, this role focuses on the daily well-being, guidance, and development of students living on campus.

With a balance of care, consistency, and leadership, the House Parent ensures students thrive both academically and personally. This position is central to the academy’s mission of nurturing disciplined, high-performing, and well-rounded young individuals who succeed in and beyond the classroom and the playing field.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor student-athletes in the hostel, promoting a positive and respectful living environment.
  • Enforce house rules and maintain discipline in line with academy policies and standards.
  • Monitor student health, safety, and emotional well-being, responding promptly to concerns or emergencies.
  • Act as the main contact for students, parents, and staff on residential matters.
  • Organize and manage daily routines, including meals, study times, curfews, and weekend activities.
  • Work closely with academic and athletic teams to support students’ schedules and minimize disruptions.
  • Keep accurate records of attendance, incidents, and communications.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and emergency drills as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. - 0-2 years of experience in residential care, youth mentoring, or student supervision.
