Industrial Janitor

Industrial Janitor – Pay: $18.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 4:00 PM–2:30 AM Shift: 2nd Shift Job Description We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Industrial Janitor / General Laborer to join a growing manufacturing facility. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays on task, manages their time responsibly, and can work independently without constant supervision.

This position involves maintaining the cleanliness of both office and manufacturing areas, including shop floors, restrooms, common areas, and areas around production machinery. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and uses their time productively throughout the shift.

Job Responsibilities

Clean and maintain manufacturing shop floors and production areas. Clean offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, remove trash, and perform general janitorial duties. Clean around machinery and equipment while following safety procedures. Operate a forklift, once company-certified, to move pallets and machine parts for deep cleaning.

Perform routine and detailed cleaning throughout the facility. Prioritize daily cleaning assignments and complete tasks within the time provided. Take initiative to identify areas needing attention without being constantly directed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Assist with additional general labor duties as needed.

Qualifications

Previous forklift experience required. Previous industrial, manufacturing, or janitorial experience preferred. Must be dependable and able to stay focused and on task throughout the shift. Must demonstrate good time management and personal accountability. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned responsibilities. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment. Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift.

Qualifications

Must pass a pre-employment background check. No felony convictions Previous forklift experience required.
