DIRECT STAFFING – JOB ORDER Banquet Waiters – Temporary Catering Events Location: Fort Smith, AR Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour Event Dates: Friday, October 16, 2026 & Saturday, October 24, 2026 Report Time: 4:30 PM for both events Shift Length: Approximately 4–6 hours Job Type: Temporary / As-Needed POSITION OVERVIEW Direct Staffing is seeking experienced, outgoing, and professional Banquet Waiters to assist with upcoming formal catering events in Fort Smith, AR.

We are looking for dependable individuals who have previous serving experience, excellent customer service skills, and a friendly, outgoing personality. Candidates must be comfortable interacting with guests and maintaining a polished, professional appearance throughout the event. These are FORMAL EVENTS, and professionalism, appearance, and customer service are extremely important.

Additional event opportunities may be available based on performance and availability. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS MUST have previous serving experience as a waiter, waitress, banquet server, or catering staff member. MUST be outgoing, friendly, and personable with excellent communication skills. MUST have outstanding customer service skills and enjoy interacting with guests.

MUST have your own reliable vehicle and dependable transportation to and from both events. MUST be professional, neat, clean, and well-groomed in appearance. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, formal event environment. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Must pass a drug screen. THC will result in disqualification. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Professionally greet and assist guests throughout the event. Serve and plate food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages. Take and deliver food and beverage orders as needed. Monitor tables and refill beverages promptly. Assist with event setup, breakdown, and cleanup. Maintain a clean and organized serving area.

Provide attentive, courteous, and exceptional customer service. Represent the catering company professionally at all times. REQUIRED DRESS CODE – FORMAL EVENT All employees MUST arrive neatly dressed and professionally groomed. Black dress pants Black button-up shirt Black closed-toe shoes Clean, neat, and professional appearance Dress code is mandatory.

Candidates who do not meet the required appearance standards may be unable to work the event. IMPORTANT We are seeking individuals who understand the importance of professionalism and providing excellent service at a formal event. Previous serving experience is REQUIRED. This is not an entry-level serving position. Candidates must be available for the scheduled event dates and arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to work.
