Non-DOT Crane Rigger

Job Details: Salary Range: Undisclosed, We are seeking a reliable Crane Rigger to safely prepare, attach, and guide heavy loads for crane operations on our project sites. This is a non-DOT position, meaning your duties are focused strictly on-site, and you will not be required to drive commercial vehicles on public roads.

Your primary focus is to ensure precise load securement, clear signal communication, and strict adherence to job site safety standards.

Qualifications

Inspecting and preparing loads Assisting crane operator with proper set-up, alignment and maintenance of equipment Hooking up rigging and flagging crane Selecting, preparing, and inspecting rigging gear and equipment Communicating with crane operator both verbally and with hand signals Monitors inventory of chains, boomer, and straps assigned to truck and reports deficiencies to supervisor Ensuring compliance with state and company safety procedures Inspecting truck and trailer before operating the vehicle Properly filling out required paperwork including inspection reports, maintenance requests, and timecards Be able to pass a background check & Drug test.
