DOT Crane Rigger

Job Details: Salary Range: Undisclosed, We are seeking a safety-minded DOT Crane Rigger to join our team. This role combines heavy industrial rigging duties on-site with commercial driving responsibilities to transport rigging gear, counterweights, and support equipment between jobs. You will be responsible for load capacities, securing heavy components, guiding crane lifts, and maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations while operating company commercial vehicles.

Qualifications

Inspecting and preparing loads Assisting crane operator with proper set-up, alignment and maintenance of equipment Hooking up rigging and flagging crane Selecting, preparing, and inspecting rigging gear and equipment Communicating with crane operator both verbally and with hand signals Monitors inventory of chains, boomer, and straps assigned to truck and reports deficiencies to supervisor Ensuring compliance with state and company safety procedures Inspecting truck and trailer before operating the vehicle Properly filling out required paperwork including inspection reports, maintenance requests, and timecards Must be able to pass a background check & Drug test.

Must have a CDL.
