Student Worker – Student Assistant for the Office of Student Health & Wellness

Campus Location: Main Campus (Galloway) Department: Student Health & Wellness Salary Range: $16.00 per hour Salary Information: Hourly Rate Work Hours: 15-20 hours per week Brief Job Overview/Summary The Student Assistant supports the Office of Student Health & Wellness by serving as the first point of contact for students and callers.

This role assists with scheduling appointments, maintaining immunization records, providing general information, and supporting health and wellness programs and activities. Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Answers phone calls, connecting callers to appropriate staff and offices
• Schedule student medical appointments
• Assist the Immunization Specialist with filing an immunization record storage per state guidelines
• Serve as the first point of contact in the Office of Student Health Services
• Assist with university programming conducted by Student Health & Wellness and the Immunization Specialist
• Provide general information and light troubleshooting for issues related to Student Health & Wellness and our services
• All other duties as assigned by professional staff Required Qualifications:
• Complete a Confidentiality Agreement
• Be punctual and act professional
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to work in a fast pace and diverse environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
