Estimator/Inside Sales

Nelson-Young Lumber Company seeks a full-time Estimator/Inside Salespersonfor ourEvansvillelocation. The role combines construction estimating (70%) with customer service and inside sales (30%) to help customers identify, price, and order project materials.

Key responsibilities:

• Review plans, calculate quantities, and prepare accurate estimates.

• Understand customers' project needs.

• Answer customer product questions .

• Answer calls .

• Verify order accuracy and coordinate delivery.

Qualifications:

• Building-product knowledge; one year of industry experience

• Ability to read blueprints .

• Willingness to learn estimating and business technology .

• Strong customer service skills .

• Ability to build relationships with customers, vendors , and
