Vet Technician/Office Asst

Outlaw Equine is looking for a quality team member to work as a veterinary/office assistant in around the area of Scott, Louisiana. We are seeking someone who is passionate about horses while being detail oriented. Customer service is a top priority at Outlaw Equine, and we are looking for someone who is outgoing, friendly and respectful to customers.

We are require an individual that can multi task and shift gears quickly. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and a positive team player.

Responsibilities include

Engaging with customers Managing schedules and making appointments Collecting and recording payment Typing patient records Running lab work and sending off tests Aiding in keeping inventory and ordering drugs Walking and trotting horses during examinations Requirements: Customer service experience Capable of understanding various software Ability to multi-task Ability to work in a team setting Willingness to work some nights and weekends Willingness to travel to clients Extensive experience and knowledge with horses Ability to jog and lift up to 40 lbs
