Accountant

Job details Outlaw Equine and its related entities are looking for an accountant to ensure accounting quality and efficiency. The new hire will be actively involved in every step of the accounting process, so it’s a great way to gain experience. About the Companies Outlaw Equine is a large, Equine only veterinary facility.

We have locations currently in Texas, Louisiana and Florida. We also have related entities that vary from manufacturing, to real estate, to performance horses. Role Record financial transactions Prepare forms and financial documentation Help with inventory counts Help prepare documentation for month-end closing entries Reconcile general ledger accounts Identify potential discrepancies, and reconcile them by collecting and analyzing data Perform other tasks as assigned Benefits Employer-subsidized health insurance Employer-sponsored HSA plan Employer-sponsored 401K with matching PTO Working hours will be scheduled but flexible Qualifications Intermediate experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Office 365 tech Bookkeeping experience; Knowledge of accounting applications like Concur, Quickbooks, or ERP preferred Strong verbal/written communication skills Self-motivated, organized, and detail-driven Ability to be at our Decatur, Texas facility 4-5 days a week.
