Job description
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to design and build scalable, robust automation frameworks across UI, API, and system integrations. This role focuses on enhancing quality assurance through automation, integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality releases in a fast-paced Agile environment.
You will play a key role in improving automation coverage, optimizing test execution, and collaborating with development teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions. Experience in industrial automation systems will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and system testing Build and execute UI automation suites using Playwright or similar tools Develop and maintain API automation scripts for REST/Web Services validation Perform integration testing, including OPC UA-based industrial systems Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution Analyze test results, debug failures, and collaborate with development teams for resolution Improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and framework maintainability Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release validation Prepare test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics Key Skills and Qualifications 6–8 years of experience in test automation Strong programming skills in C# or JavaScript with solid OOP concepts Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools Experience in building automation frameworks and regression test suites Strong knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, Rest.
Sharp, or Super. Test Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI Knowledge of JSON/XML validation and debugging techniques Exposure to Linux-based environments and Kubernetes deployments Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience with OPC UA, SCADA, MES, or PLC systems is a plus Exposure to Docker and containerization is desirable Experience in performance or load testing is an advantage Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation Apply by sending your CV to careers@cliqhr.
