Server

Job Details: Level: Entry, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Any, Under general supervision, performs food preparation and service duties in different areas and for varied functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Serve food and beverages of the highest quality to ensure customer satisfaction. Set rooms to ensure they are ready for planned functions to include arrangement of tables, movement of tables and chairs, place settings, condiment containers and napkins. Remain pleasant and alert to needs of property owners and their guests.

Prepare alcoholic beverages as needed. Keep server side stations stocked, cleaned and organized. Take and serve food and drink orders to a variety of people. Assist with bartending duties, if qualified. Advise Kitchen Supervisor of inventory needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Dependable, pleasant attitude, appearance and personal hygiene, a must.

Consideration of members and guests. Perform other duties as assigned and required.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of policies and procedures. Ability to work well with other serving staff and employees. Ability to focus on what needs to be done without constant supervision. Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor and to be flexible for procedure changes as needed. Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Ability to operate cash register and credit card machine. Ability to deal in a positive and professional manner with all types of individuals. JOB SPECIFICATIONS/JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years of age to serve alcohol. Must be free of any felonies.

Education

High School Diploma or G.E.D., preferred. Experience: 3 months Server Work Conditions: Typical indoors with central air and heat. Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, climbing stairs, speaking and listening.
