Food Service Helper - Part-Time

The North Rockland (Haverstraw-Stony Point) Central School District is seeking candidates for Food Service Helper positions at various schools for the 2026-2027 school year. These positions are for up to 5.5 hours per day. The starting salary is $21.22/hour. JOB DUTIES Store foods and supplies Clean, cut, slice vegetables, meat and dairy products Open cans and other food containers Make simple salads, coffee, tea and sandwiches, warm soups and butter bread Pack food for outside delivery Set up steam and other counters Set out portions of prepared food Restock serving line with food and supplies Serve food Sell ice cream, milk, shakes and other a la carte foods Operate various kitchen appliances such as slicer, mixer, potato peeler, dishwasher Clean dishware, trays, silverware, pots and pans, kitchen equipment, tables and floors May collect money and keep simple cash and inventory records
