PHLEBOTOMIST – MICHIGAN Position: Phlebotomist JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for collecting blood specimens accurately and safely while ensuring patient comfort. Duties include specimen identification and labeling, specimen processing, patient registration, and assisting with laboratory supplies.

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of phlebotomy experience — Required. Phlebotomy Certification — Required. Experience working with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations — Required. Willingness to complete Michigan LTC fingerprinting during compliance. Permanent address required. Candidates must live outside the 50-mile radius restriction.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS: Work history. Phlebotomy skills checklist completed within the past year. Two supervisory reference forms completed within the past two years. FACILITY INFORMATION: 139-bed hospital. EMR: Epic.
