ABOUT THE ROLE

After 6 incredible years at FRG, our Staff Accountant has made the decision to relocate closer to family. As a result, our current Accounts Payable Specialist will be transitioning into that role, and we are now searching for an exceptional individual to join our team and become part of our work family. Under the supervision of our Staff Accountant and Controller, the Accounts Payable Specialist plays an important role in the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities. To be successful in this role, you must be highly analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused.

Because we’re a family company with a small, tight-knit office environment, you must also be flexible and accommodating to wear multiple hats and take on whatever responsibilities may come your way.

This means you also have to be great with people (our employees and vendors!) A significant portion of your time will include working within our accounting software (Entrata), and Microsoft Excel, so you must be adept at navigating various kinds of software. Here’s more of the nitty-gritty: As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your role will be a constant blend of: Technical and Analytical Focus – Whether it’s inputting property invoices, reviewing general ledger details, analyzing variances, or analyzing utility costs, you’ll be able to showcase your analytical and reasoning skills and provide decision-making within established systems and a clearly defined job scope.

Collaboration – In addition to a focus on details, you will regularly engage with our employees and vendors and have plenty of opportunities to share your job knowledge and to assist through helpful, friendly, and supportive communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

5. Ability to discreetly handle sensitive and/or confidential information

7. Associate degree in accounting or a related business field
8. Minimum of 3 years of A/P computerized accounting The following requirements apply to employment with FRG in this position:
9. Maintain a valid driver’s license.
10. Maintain reliable transportation.
11. Work on-site at the Gibbsboro, NJ office at least four (4) days per week, generally Monday through Thursday, with Fridays designated as remote workdays unless in-office attendance is required by business needs. Further, employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements, as well as all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and company pre-employment conditions.
